On July 19, 2019, the candidates to be funded by Jiangsu Province High-level Innovative and Entrepreneurial Talents Introduction Program were announced. After preliminary examination and recommendation, qualification examination and expert evaluation, 549 individuals, 45 teams and 803 Ph.Ds were selected. Among them, Dr. Su Xuefeng of Jiangsu Weiyun Biomedical Co., Ltd. was successfully shortlisted.

High-level Innovative and Entrepreneurial Talents Introduction Programis an important decision made by Jiangsu provincial Party committee and provincial government to strengthen the construction of high-level talent team around the key development areas by funding talents and teams at the advanced level in different fields, so as to promote the transformation and upgrading of provincial industries and the coordinated development of regional economy. The selected personnel will receive a financial support of RMB 500,000 ~ 5,000,000 according to the result of defense.

Dr. Su Xuefeng was selectedbecause of his outstanding achievements in industry innovation and development, science and technology research and development, etc. Dr. Su, a postdoctoral fellow of Harvard Medical College, is currently the R&D Director of Weiyun, who has over 20 years of research experience in the field of medical research, and has published more than 20 academic papers, including nearly 10 as the first author, and all of which have been included in SCI, EI and ISTP, enjoying great reputation in research, development and innovation of biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology and other fields.
