Japanese professor Hideki Kambara visited Superyears for academic exchanges

On September 18, 2018, Japanese chemist, professor of Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, and former chief scientist of Hitachi, Ltd., Hideki Kambara (the world's first developer of fluorescent DNA sequencing technology) came to Superyears, Weiyun's wholly-owned subsidiary, to carry out academic exchanges. Chairman Lyu Hua, director Shi Qi, CTO Xiang Guobing, general manager Wu Jia, etc. participated in the reception and exchange.

ProfessorHideki Kambara and his teamvisited the Honor series DNA sequencer independently developed by the companyto learn about the application characteristics and parameter performance of the instrument, and appreciated the research and development achievements of Superyears.

The two sides conducted an exchange discussion on the latest technologies of DNA sequencing in the world,listed the newest application cases of gene sequencing technology, explored how the next generation of gene sequencing technology can accurately predict human characteristics and provide data support for disease prevention, biomedicine, judicial public security and agricultural science, and predicted the future development direction of DNA sequencers.
