Nucleic Acid Extraction and Purification Kit

Weiyun Nucleic Acid Extraction and Purification Kit adopts the magnetic beads and buffer systems that both feature a unique separation effect to isolate and purify high-quality genomic nucleic acid from samples. The magnetic beads used in this kit are specially coated, featuring a strong affinity for the target nucleic acid under certain conditions. When the conditions change, the magnetic beads will release the adsorbed nucleic acid to achieve the purpose of rapid separation and purification of nucleic acid.

Intended Use

The kit is used for nucleic acid extraction, enrichment, purification and other steps. The processed products are used for clinical in vitro testing.

Storage Condition and Validity Period

Room temperature (15~25℃) for 6 months.

Sample Requirement

1. The sample types applicable to this extraction or purification reagent: Upper respiratory tract samples (nasopharyngeal swabs, sputum, etc.); Lower respiratory tract samples (bronchial lavage fluid, alveolar lavage fluid, etc.)

2. For the specific method of sample collection, please refer to Microbiological Specimen Collection Manual and Clinical Nursing Practice Guide. 

3. After the samples are collected, extraction and testing must be completed on the same day. Otherwise, the samples should be stored for: ≤24h between 2~8℃; ≤10 days between -30 ~-15℃; long-term preservation under -70℃ or below, but repeated freezing and thawing should be avoided.

4. Shipment: Transport at room temperature.

Limitation of The Test 

Due to the variation in sample types, the extracted RNA may have a risk of degradation.

Performance Indicator

The test results of this kit feature good stability and reproducibility. The difference within and between batches of the kit is smaller than 5%.
